During the ongoing anti-new-Labour-Code protests in Vilnius, Locomotive.press met with the representatives of the Building and Wood Workers’ International (BWI), a global union federation. This week Yuson met with the protesters and called for an international solidarity between the workers. The guests were visiting the Baltic states and meeting up with the local workers’ unions. We seized the opportunity to speak with the General Secretary Ambet Yuson and an Assistant Education Secretary Jasmin Redzepovic about BWI, its global struggle for the workers rights, and the changing role of the labour unions.
